Lava element is one of thirteen elemental magic that available in Eastern Europe, and the third place of derivative element list in the Eastern Europe Magic Law. The wizards who possess the Lava element are born with three elements: Fire, Earth and Water, and born from two wizards who possess Metal and Water element. Which means, Lava element cannot be learnt by other kinds of element.
Until the present time, Lava wizards are still the rarest one in wizard population. And any Lava wizards who join military will have special treatment and privilege since their power are resourceful for combat usage.
History
First Lava wizards that known in the history of magic are the five siblings of Shurayev. They are born from mother who possess Metal element and father who possess Water element around 1800s. When Metal Massacre of 1905 happens, they are forced to escape and isolating at different places.
- Sairan Shurayev stayed at outskirts of Lithuania, with several Metal wizards who survived at Metal Massacre of 1905, which still have cousin-related.
- Sayat Shurayev, with his twin sister Saltanat, stayed at Kamchatka.
- Saltanat Shurayev, with her twin brother Sayat, stayed at Kamchatka.
- Samal Shurayev, with her twin brother Sanzhar, stayed at Yamalo-Nenets.
- Sanzhar Shurayev, with his twin sister Samal, stayed at Yamalo-Nenets.
They reunited again in 1960s, when Sairan accidentally met Samal and Sanzhar. This made Sairan decided to seek Sayat and Saltanat. Their whereabouts only being known at the same year, when Saltanat married with Kalistrat Antoy, the famous Thunder Wizard in the Eastern Europe.
And after Neutral Hunt ended, more Lava wizards born and known in Eastern Europe. Although still, their population is considered very rare.
Location and Distribution
Before 1905, Lava Wizards live together with Metal Wizards in Metal Oblast’ (Метальный Область). The location at underground of Balkan region (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) until border of Tula City. The founder of the secret state are husband and wife, Jurgis Kalvalis and Anastasia Rubina. They are also responsible as the governor of the secret state.
In Soviet Union era and Russian Federation era, Lava wizards are living in normal life among other wizards and human. But they are still required to use gloves when interact with human.
Magic Ability
As per name, Lava wizards means they can manipulate and create lava. And since they are also possessing Fire, Earth and Water element, they could cast spell that those wizards use with limited amount. Their durability with magic attack is stronger than any elemental wizard.

Since Lava wizards are born-based, not created or learnt-based, they have their own characteristic:
Sense of Taste
Despite they are born from Metal wizard who had Ageusia, Lava wizards are gaining their sense of taste and able to eat normally like human. It’s still under research of why this Ageusia case happened only to Metal wizards.
Unnatural Birth Condition
All babies who possessed Lava element are born to looked completely burned as charcoal just like Metal wizards. However, they are still alive and this condition only temporary. As days passed, the burned skin will heal by itself, and in the 7th day, they will become normal baby.
Unnatural Body Condition
Lava wizards are the only wizard who have total destructive power: they can burn human whom they touch. Therefore, it’s totally recommended for them to use gloves when interacting with human. They are also didn’t have Stone Eyes just like Metal wizards.
Magic Media
The weapon or magic media for Lava wizards is a whip or a ramrod, invented by Jurgis Kalvalis, assisted by Sairan and Sayat. Later in Eastern Europe Magic Law, whip is removed, and ramrod is required to be used by any Lava wizard who drafted at military.
Notable History
Wizard Hunt (1220-1723)
Lava Wizards are considered as neutral side, not even participating nor hunted by humans and wizards who join The Dark. There are no representative yet since their whereabouts still unknown until 1960.
Metal Massacre of 1905
60% of Metal wizards population in Metal Oblast’ are murdered by Russian Empire soldiers, as their secret state location being ratted by a young Fire wizard named Ilya Misovsky. Along with Metal wizard, this is the first time Lava wizards have to adapt with human world after being comfortable living in underground.
Neutral Hunt (1918-1990)
Lava Wizards are the number two wanted list in Soviet Union era, after the news of Saltanat Shurayev’s marriage with Kalistrat Antoy. They are being hunted for researching the new element by both The Red and The White. Fortunately none of the Lava Wizards are able to be caught because they are always overpowering every magic attack.
Decree of Derivative Elements 1991
Alongside with Ice and Metal, Samal and Sanzhar able to sneak into Boris Yeltsin’s place and made him creating Decree of Derivative Elements. Inside the decree are to protect Ice, Metal and Lava wizards from exploitation by human and other wizards. This decree still applied until now, which help thriving the population of Ice, Metal and Lava wizard population after almost wiped out in previous times.
Indigo Conflict (2004-2021)
Lava Wizards are one of participants in the Indigo Conflict, specifically in providing deadly traps for instantly killing Indigo and human who tried to invade wizard’s safe places. Some of them are also playing role in hunting and killing Indigo people.
