Nature element is one of thirteen elemental magic that available in Eastern Europe, and the fourth place of derivative element list in the Eastern Europe Magic Law. The wizards who possess the Nature element are possessing two elements: Earth and Water. This element is can only acquired by learning: Water/Sea/Rain wizard learning Earth element, or Earth element learning Water/Sea/Rain element. Which means, Nature element cannot be created by being born.
Until the present time, Nature wizards are uncommon to be found in wizard population.
History
First Nature wizards that known in the history of magic is the Elder of Earth Wizard himself, Ivan Darakin in early 1700s. His thirst for knowledge led him to asking Elder of Water Wizard, Andrey Zykow, as his research partner. And with a long and tiring years of learning and experimenting, Darakin and Zykow able to create a new element: Nature element.
Darakin decided to taught and test the new knowledge to one of his apprentice named Ulyana Tsvetina, an Earth wizard. Miraculously, Tsvetina could learnt the Water element easier and faster than what Darakin estimated. Thus, Tsvetina can help by teaching to other Earth or Water wizard who interested to learn the new element.
Location and Distribution
There are no specific location and distribution, since the wizards who learnt this magic are came from various regions.
Magic Ability
As per name, Nature wizards means they can manipulate and create plants. And since they are also possessing Earth and Water element, they could cast spell that those wizards use with limited amount. In the advanced level, Nature wizards are fluent to speak animal languages, which make a great communicator to wildlife animals.
Specialities
After learning the Nature element, these wizards have their own specialities:
Signature Plant
They can create one plant that will always help them doing attack and defense. Each Nature wizards have their own plants, and their characteristic will influence the plant’s condition. Wizards who prefer attack will have thorns on their plants, while wizards who prefer defense will have thicker plants.
Animal Language
In advance level, Nature wizards can talk to animals and understand their language well.
Rotten Carnation
Tsvetina invent a spell, that considered as a lost spell after World War II. The reason is no one able to pass down the spell. The spell has 20 poem lines, and taking a long time to chant it. If being chanted correctly, Rotten Carnation could create a carnation flower that cause everyone who touches it, will rot into a corpse.
Only after 2005, Irina Isayeva able to shorten the poem lines by only chant 5 certain lines to create the same Rotten Carnation. This is helping Nature wizards to create deadly traps for Indigo people.
Magic Media
From Russian Empire until Soviet Union era, Nature wizards are still using wood wand as their magic media. But when Eastern Europe Magic Law established at 1991, Nature wizards changed the media by using special glove that woven by wooden shards and leather. This is to simplify their magic media, both for civilians and soldier who have Nature elements.
Notable History
Wizard Hunt (1220-1723)
Nature Wizards are considered as neutral side, not even participating nor hunted by humans and wizards who join The Dark. There are no representative yet since their whereabouts still unknown until 1924.
Neutral Hunt (1918-1990)
Almost all of Nature wizards are easily caught by both The Reds and The White at World War II, because their ability to grew plants and trees are considered resourceful for Soviet timber business. They are forced to work by creating forests of trees until die in exhaustion. Nature element almost extinct as no one able (and afraid) to taught the lesson to new generations. If they are resist, they will be tortured by hearing the screaming of dogs and cats whose sacrificed to bomb the tank.
Until the collapse of Soviet Union at 1991, only one Nature wizard named Irina Isayeva who still alive and free. Later she become a mentor to all Water and Earth wizard who aren’t afraid anymore to learn Nature element.
Indigo Conflict (2004-2021)
Nature Wizards are one of participants in the Indigo Conflict, specifically in providing Rotten Carnations as deadly traps, for instantly killing Indigo and human who tried to invade wizard’s safe places. Some of them are also playing role in hunting and killing Indigo people.
